The Bishop's Visit Our Bishop, The Rt. Rev. John W. Howe, will be making his annual visit to Emmanuel on Sunday, January 11th. Three of our young parishioners, Izzy Arnold, Robert Schneider and Jason Smith, will be confirmed at the 10:15 service. Please mark your calendars and come in support of our confirmands and to greet our Bishop at the reception following the service.

Annual Meeting Please mark your calendars for Sunday, January 25th for our Annual Meeting. There is no perfect time for thismeeting, but what seems to work best is for us to have one combined service at 9:00 a.m. followed by the meeting. We will present the 2009 budget, elect four new vestry members, and hear reports on the past year from the wardens and the rector.
	Parish Work Days are scheduled throughout the year as needed. The next one is Saturday, October 18th at 9:00 a.m. If you are interested in helping, contact Karen Willick. Questions? call the office at 407-894-1641.
